WEDDING AT THE ORANGERY IN MAIDSTONE

Natalie and Adam’s beautiful wedding at The Orangery in Maidstone was such an amazing day! From the elegant ceremony to the all-out party in the evening! A wedding can be very emotional at times, and watching Natalie reveal her dress to her Dad in the morning was one of those moments. It even had me all teary-eyed! Natalie and Adam were such a joy to be around and so much fun! Check it out below.

How did you guys meet, tell me all?
So we actually met on Tinder 5 and a half years ago. We matched and neither of us spoke for a few days. The first message was sent at the exact same time! So both of us thought the other was pretty keen.. We met up a few days later and the rest is history!
How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?
Adam proposed on a private beach in Dubai. We went for a walk and he set up his go-pro to ‘take a photo’ and filmed the whole thing. Pretty romantic for someone who doesn’t even know my middle name!
What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?
Originally we were looking to go abroad but realised to keep it within our budget, we would only be able to invite 3 friends each. Definitely not a party in our eyes!
Tell me about your dress? Who was it designed by and was there a particular style you were drawn too?
My dress is totally not what I was originally hoping for. If I’m honest I feel pretty insecure in my dress purely because it’s not very me. I worry that other people will hate it which is ridiculous but unfortunately that’s me! I love it, I’m just a people worrier!
It’s a mix between princess and A-line with sleeves. I have a sleeve tattoo that my dad HATES. So it had to be covered and makeup just wasn’t an option.
What was the inspiration/theme/styling of your wedding?
Rustic mixed with elegance maybe. I’m definitely a less is more kind of girl.
What is your first song and why?
Afterglow – Wilkinson. Not your typical first dance but we aren’t the romantic type. We love Wilkinson, and this song just holds such a special place in both our hearts. We want everyone up dancing as soon as the dance floor opens.
What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
Don’t stress, enjoy planning a wedding. Do not be forced into inviting people, it’s your day.
