Editorial Wedding Photographer for Modern UK and Destination Weddings

As an editorial wedding photographer, I create photography that feels modern, refined and effortlessly stylish. With a background in high end magazine work and over a decade photographing luxury weddings across the UK and Europe, my approach blends fashion inspired portraiture with a calm documentary feel.

Every wedding is different, but the intention is always the same. Natural, elegant images. Real emotion. A contemporary editorial style that still feels honest and true to you.

What Defines Editorial Wedding Photography?

Editorial wedding photography is thoughtful, intentional and beautifully composed. It is inspired by the world of fashion and fine art and focuses on clean lines, modern styling and an elevated sense of simplicity.

Nothing feels forced. Nothing feels over posed. It is about understanding the rhythm of the day and creating imagery that feels both curated and completely natural.

It is a blend of

Natural documentary moments

Refined portraiture inspired by fashion and magazine work

Attention to composition, styling and light

A narrative that feels curated yet completely authentic

You get the emotion and truth of the day, captured with an elevated and modern aesthetic.

This approach works particularly well for destination weddings, where setting and atmosphere become part of the story. It is especially suited to French château weddings, where architecture, light and a strong sense of place shape the final images.

My Editorial Approach

Your wedding isn’t a photoshoot. It’s a celebration with its own rhythm and energy. My job is to honour that while crafting imagery worthy of a magazine spread.

Connection and comfort

The best images come when you feel relaxed. I keep everything calm, simple and natural so you can be completely yourselves.

Fashion inspired portraiture

Modern, elegant portraits with clean composition and a fine art influence. Simple direction without interrupting the flow of the day.

Beautifully honest moments

I watch for real emotion, natural light and the small details that bring a story to life. Documentary moments with an editorial eye.

Cinematic timing

Movement, atmosphere, anticipation. I look for frames that feel modern and cinematic while still staying true to the moment.

A story that flows naturally

From morning preparations to evening celebration, your gallery becomes a curated story that feels consistent, intentional and beautifully paced.

UK Weddings, European Destinations, and Beyond

I photograph weddings across the UK as well as destination weddings throughout Europe, working with couples who value a calm, considered and editorial approach. Much of my work takes me to Italy and Greece, where I regularly photograph weddings on Lake Como, in Tuscany and Puglia, as well as destinations such as Santorini, Mykonos and Rhodes.

From modern city weddings in London and elegant countryside estates in the UK, to destination weddings across Europe, my approach remains consistent. It is relaxed, fashion-led and focused on creating imagery that feels natural, refined and quietly confident.

Whether your plans take you to a historic Italian estate, a sun-drenched villa in the Mediterranean, or an iconic European setting, the focus is always on thoughtful storytelling and modern photography that feels effortless and beautifully considered.

I also work closely with many international couples travelling from the US to marry in Europe, offering a seamless experience from the initial planning stages through to the wedding day itself.

FAQ — Editorial Wedding Photography Explained

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. I photograph weddings throughout the UK and across Europe, with frequent travel to Italy, Greece, Spain and France.

How many images will we receive?

Typically 400–900 photographs for a full wedding, individually edited in my signature style.

Is editorial photography posed?

Not in the traditional sense. Portraits are guided with gentle direction, but the aim is always to keep everything natural, relaxed and effortless.

Can you capture candid moments too?

Yes. Candid moments are a huge part of what I do. I’m always watching for the quiet interactions, the laughter, the emotion and everything that unfolds naturally throughout the day.

Do you offer multi-day coverage for destination weddings?

Yes — pre-wedding parties, pool days, welcome dinners and next-day celebrations can all be included.

Do you offer film or 35mm photography?

Yes. I offer 35mm film as an optional add-on for couples who want that authentic, nostalgic, organic look alongside their digital gallery.

How long do you stay on a wedding day?

I usually cover everything from morning preparations through to the evening celebration. For destination weddings or multi-day events, coverage is tailored around your schedule.

How soon will we receive our photos?

You’ll receive a preview selection within the first week, with your full gallery delivered in 6–10 weeks depending on the season.

Can you help with planning the photo timeline?

Of course. I work closely with planners and couples to suggest timings that give you great light, natural moments and a relaxed flow to the day.

Where are you based?

I’m based just outside London, on the edge of Kent, and photograph weddings across the UK and destinations throughout Europe.

What is your booking process?

It’s simple. Fill out the contact form, I confirm availability and send a tailored proposal. A booking fee secures the date, and everything moves forward from there.
