Tuesday and Fabio enjoyed a gorgeous Winters Barns wedding, in the heart of the Kent countryside. From the elegant ceremony to the all-out party, this was such a great wedding day, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Check it all out below.

How did you guys meet, tell me all?
Best Man Tom’s then girlfriend (now wife), text Fabio in October 2017 to see if he was available on November 2nd 2017 to go on a blind date with her then work colleague. Fabio obliged and so agreed to go on said date.
We were given each other’s phone numbers 1 week ahead of the date in order to arrange the meet-up time and location etc.
We met at Liverpool Street station in London, went to Dinerama in Shoreditch for our first date and the rest is history.
How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?
Let’s be honest, the initial engagement plans didn’t go to plan. We were in Krakow, Poland when Fabio had arranged to take the cheesy route and propose to Tuesday on a horse and cart in the main City Square. This was to be followed by a meal at a fancy steak restaurant in town. As Tuesday was getting ready to go out, Fabio went downstairs to the hotel reception, requesting them to decorate the hotel room and put champagne on ice. At this time, he also called Tuesday’s dad, Adam, to get his blessing to take his daughter’s hand in marriage.
Fabio returned to the hotel room expecting Tuesday to be ready to paint the town red. Instead she had been violently sick and was tucked up in bed.
Abort! Abort!
A quick text to Adam and a run downstairs to reception to cancel any proposal arrangements, the night ended at 9:15pm as boyfriend and girlfriend still.
Ironically yet, fortunately, Tuesday felt right as rain in the morning. We checked out of our hotel and headed into town for lunch at the restaurant we didn’t make it to the night before.
Fabio had it pictured in his head, in between starters and mains, he was going to get down on one knee in the restaurant and pop the question.
“Let me take you to your table guys”…at the window on the 2 foot platform(!). How was Fabio ever going to get down on one knee?!
The question was asked across sat across the table from each other; the ring used, was one that Fabio’s Nonna and late Nonno bought him for his 21st birthday; a ring that comes in two parts so that it could be worn but both.
The day concluded with a horse and cart ride around the city centre before catching a plane home.
What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?
We knew from the start that we wanted a barn theme. We looked at around 5-6 venues, all within 90mins from home. To be honest, Lizzie the wedding manager was a key selling point for us. She filled us with confidence and was clearly experienced in her role.
The size of the venue was perfect plus the fact we could get ready on location and have relatives stay at the venue on the wedding night, were two important considerations.
Winters Barns had an extensive list of preferred suppliers too which meant the day could run smoother as all parties would have been at the venue before.
Tell me about your dress? Who was it designed by and was there a particular style you were drawn too?
I got my dress from a little boutique in Naples, FL. Originally I wanted a long sleeve lace dress but as soon as I put on this sweetheart, cap sleeve, lace detailed dress, I knew it was the one. I felt like a princess.
What was the inspiration/theme/styling of your wedding?
Moody Autumnal.
What is your first song and why?
This Is Me by Keala Settle taken from the film, The Greatest Showman.
This was the first film we went to see together at Backyard Cinema and it became ‘our song’.
What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
Don’t stress. Put your trust in your venue and suppliers and don’t think too much about finer details.
