A very relaxed country wedding at The Old Kent Barn with Victoria and Lewis surrounded by family and friends. From gorgeous trees that took centre stage as table centre pieces, to the party in the evening, this was the wedding Victoria and Lewis had hoped for. Check out their beautiful day here.

How did you guys meet, tell me all?
We met through friends at a night in Fabric Nightclub, London. Lewis stalked me on Facebook and saw I was going there, even though I’d never met him before! We got chatting and spent the night drinking together. We met up again shortly after on Boxing Day and we’ve been together ever since.
How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?
Lewis – We had already commissioned the ring to be made before the engagement had even taken place, so Victoria knew it was coming! But I had sneakily got the ring a day earlier and surprised her on our 6.5 year anniversary!
What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?
We had seen The Old Kent Barn early on which had the country feel we both wanted! We looked at others after but as lovely as they were, none compared to this venue! We just loved it
What was the inspiration/theme of your wedding?
We didn’t want to be too “themey” and we wanted to keep everything quite natural. But some people have said its a bit like ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’ with the big trees.
What is your first song and why?
Our first song is David Bowie – As The World Falls Down. We’re both big fans of music and didn’t want the standard top 10 first dance options! We knew we really wanted something different that we hadn’t heard or seen at any other wedding. When Bowie died it really hit a nerve with us, with so many memories of him from our childhoods! So this seemed such a great choice!
What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
Definitely stick to your guns. It’s really easy to get side tracked with everyone trying to give their own opinions, ideas and recommendations. Keep to your plan and don’t question yourself too much.
