Caitlin and Brad’s beautifully polished boho themed wedding at Rivervale Barn was stunning. This gorgeous venue near Farnham played host to a wedding that was classical, romantic and a hell of a party! These guys sure knew how to get their marriage off to a bang! Check out this awesome day below.

How did you guys meet, tell me all?
We met as 13-year-old teenagers – I say met… we used to chat on MSN and at the ripe age of 14 we shared our first kiss walking back from a party. Life took us down separate paths until one night in our local nightclub at 19, that flirty connection was still there between us. Brad is convinced he knew he had me there and then.
How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?
I knew Brad had the ring as I had picked it. Many occasions had passed by – Christmas, New year, Moving into our first home then came Valentine’s Day and I pulled out all the stops hoping and wishing that finally, it may happen but after a beautiful evening together, We went to bed – still no proposal. Then Brad casually told me he loved me and how would I feel about spending the rest of our lives together…
What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?
We had initially booked our wedding abroad but it fell through and looking back it was a blessing in disguise as we then made a decision to get married here in the UK. Rivervale was the first and only venue we looked at, Brad is a carpenter and the minute we walked in to all those beautiful oak beams and the craftsmanship that had gone into the barn, Brad was sold! I am a control freak and a soon as I seen this blank canvas I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.
What was the inspiration/theme of your wedding?
Romantic/ Polished Boho – something I have just made up.
What is your first song and why?
James Bay – Wild Love. We aren’t overly soppy as a couple but this song and the words sum our relationship up.
What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
If your budget allows – book your honeymoon for straight after the wedding. I am writing this with two weeks to go until the big day and wow do I need a holiday now! We have a day in between and then we are out of here!
