Gorgeous wedding at Eastwell Manor with Caroline and Colin. This was my biggest wedding since 2019 and with numbers slowly increasing, it was amazing to see so many people in the same room, enjoying themselves and having fun! We were even treated to some late afternoon sunshine. To add to the excitement of the occasion, England even managed to win against Ukraine in Euro 2020, placing them into the semi-finals! It truly was such an honour to capture Caroline and Colin’s stunning wedding. Check out the highlights below. These are my favourites.

How did you guys meet, tell me all?
We met online. We went on a great first and second first date and fell in love 🙂

How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?
Colin surprised me with a wonderful birthday dinner at the Gherkin in the City of London. I had no idea he was going to propose, it was a fantastic birthday present!

What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?
We originally looked at a barn wedding in Sussex where I’m from (Caroline) but our favourite was fully booked for over a year. We widened our search to Kent and found Eastwell Manor. We fell in love with the venue as soon as we stepped in the door. The sound of a grand piano being played filled the entrance in such a way that it captured us.

What was the inspiration/theme of your wedding?
We wanted a traditional wedding, within the surroundings of a beautiful building, views and grounds, Eastwell Manor has them all!
Our colour scheme is traditional with blues, yellows, greens and whites. With yellow roses in memory of my (Caroline) father. He gave me a yellow rose every year for my birthday.

What is your first song and why?
Home by Scouting for Girls. We are both big music lovers, so it was very hard to choose a song we both could agree on, until we heard this song.

What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
Don’t plan a wedding during a global pandemic!
