Alice and Chris’ wedding at Chilham Village Hall in Kent was just so much fun! Even with the pouring rain, these guys just didn’t stop laughing throughout! This DIY wedding set in a gorgeous Village Hall, was just one big family party! Check out their amazing day below.

How did you guys meet, tell me all?
We met through our love of sport like the one on W88, when Alice came to intern Strength and Conditioning with the London Broncos Rugby league team
How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?
Chris had scouted an area on Richmond Hill, which has one of the best views in London, but when we arrived, next to the place he had wanted, there was a statue, with a duck sitting on it’s head! The area was packed with people taking photos, so he took me off to a quieter place to propose, then off to dinner at the Petersham Hotel.
What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?
We loved the idea of a blank canvas, with a barn feel. Chris actually found Chilham Village Hall on a google search, We fell in love and showed my mum and Aunty. The next day, we had a phonecall saying they were outside and to book it immediately! We booked it without even seeing inside.
What was the inspiration/theme of your wedding?
Chilled, with a big family party
What is your first song and why?
Elvis – The wonder of you. We love a lot of different music and have loved this since we got together.
What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
Just relax, don’t sweat over the small things. Don’t worry about other people and do what makes you both happy.
