How did you guys meet, tell me all?
We met seven years ago when Scott was 26 and Jerry was 19. Jerry was a barmaid in Scott’s local pub and he used to go in after work to see her. The rest is history!
How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?
We went to Vienna to visit the Christmas markets in December 2015 and we got engaged at the Belvedere Palace. After walking down a massive pathway through the gardens we arrived at a water fountain where Scott got down on one knee and proposed.
What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?
We wasn’t 100% certain what type of venue we were after, we just wanted something unique to us. We looked at a couple of different venues but as soon as we saw Upwaltham Barns we knew we wouldn’t beat it!
What was the inspiration/theme of your wedding?
We wanted everything to be elegant and white and something classic that won’t date (hopefully!)
What is your first song and why?
Our first song is Little Things by One Direction. We chose it because the song means a lot to us and we can really relate to the words.
What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
Our number one tip would be to remember what is important and not to let other people ruin your special time – you only get to do it once.
