Instagram plays a huge part in my world, showcasing my latest work, or just little snippets of images I love. Some of these pictures are shots that may not always make a portfolio, or the website. But they have so much feeling, thought and artistry that a platform like Instagram is such a great way to show off these images. I’m currently posting once a day, possibly twice if time permits, so please keep tabs on the feed. There really are some gems to come! Also feel free to comment and let me know what you think.

Once a month I will posting my top 5 wedding instagrams, based on the likes it received over the month. So check out my Top 5 Wedding Instagrams In November 2016 below.
The Wedding Legs
This was shot at Jodie & Karl’s cool and alternative farm wedding. I noticed how the light from the letters was falling around them and felt this image could convey the moment. You don’t always need a shot of a kiss, or fake posing, but just the body language of a couple can speak volumes and this how I saw this moment.
The Veil
Scarlet’s veil was all over the place. The wind kept carrying it and in the end, why fight with nature. As it came up again, we had Scott nicely positioned under and this picture was born. I love how they both instantly gave each other the ‘look’. It’s the natural images i’m drawn to and I didn’t want to overly ‘pose’ this. I just let nature take it’s course and something special was created.
The Drop Down
This is one of may favourite pictures captured this year. Natalie was peering through the window, looking out at the gorgeous wedding venue and the surrounding grounds. Suddenly, the grooms family walked into view. In a sudden panic, the first thing Natalie thought to do was drop down from the window and remained there until the threat of being seen had passed. I love images such as this, that tell a story.
Charlotte Arriving
Charlotte arrived at East Quay Venue in whitstable in a VW Camper Van, sporting her very cool leather jacket. This look has really taken off lately and it’s my suspicion this wedding had a big part to play. A very natural shot and captures the look and feel of a very beautiful wedding.
The Autumnal Engagement
This was a shot of Michelle and Chris during their pre wedding engagement shoot. The mist had rolled in, but there were glimmers of sunshine starting to break through. Hence the rim light surrounding Michelle’s hair. With the cold autumnal feel, I wanted something rustic that also showed how they were with each other. These guys are just so natural with each other and it really shows in this picture.
So there we have it.
The top 5 of November! Which images will be listed next month? Who knows. December’s images have already started to be posted, so get liking and help next months post look pretty awesome!
