Kate and James enjoyed a gorgeous late winter wedding at The Secret Garden, located in the stunning county of Kent. From the elegant ceremony to the fun party in the evening, this was a beautiful wedding day, for such a lovely couple. Check it all out below.

How did you guys meet, tell me all?
James was my Uber driver to the station after work – there was lots of traffic so he ended up taking me home (probably a 2 hour drive!). Lots of time to get chatting…
How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?
It was my birthday and James had planned a surprise trip. We went to Sushi Samba (where we had our first date) and then to Hever Castle where James proposed. It was raining all day except about 30 mins when we arrived at Hever Castle when there was brilliant sunshine – pretty lucky for an outdoor proposal!
What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?
We loved the gardens and the smaller size of the venue as we didn’t want a big wedding. The team were also really friendly and helpful when we visited.
Tell me about your dress? Who was it designed by and was there a particular style you were drawn too?
Who was it designed by and was there a particular style you were drawn too? – Winter (Maggie Sottero). I always wanted a pretty, romantic, lace dress. I love lace sleeves and the buttons all down the back. I also added in an extra sparkly tulle layer so it shimmers in the light – it’s just beautiful!
What was the inspiration/theme/styling of your wedding?
We wanted it to be classic and pretty so stuck to white flowers and green foliage, lots of fairy lights, candles etc..
What is your first song and why?
Can’t Help Falling in Love (Michael Buble). The first song we slow danced – it became special over time. We danced to it on our engagement day too.
What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
Don’t stress and start planning early. Remember to enjoy this exciting time together!
