Mel and Sean’s beautiful The Plough at Leigh wedding was the perfect combination of relaxed countryside charm, heartfelt moments and glorious summer sunshine. With temperatures reaching around 36°C, friends and family gathered to celebrate beneath clear blue skies, creating an unforgettable atmosphere from beginning to end.
WEDDING CEREMONY in THE PLOUGH at LEIGH
Set within the beautiful grounds of The Plough in Leigh, Mel and Sean exchanged their vows surrounded by family and friends on one of the hottest days of the year. Before the ceremony had even begun, guests were treated to a surprise choreographed dance by the bridesmaids as they made their way up the aisle, setting the tone for a wedding full of personality and fun.
Afterwards, guests enjoyed drinks in the gardens while making the most of the incredible weather. Family photographs, candid moments and plenty of time spent catching up with loved ones perfectly captured everything that makes a The Plough in Leigh wedding so special.
THE PLOUGH at LEIGH WEDDING RECEPTION
One of the highlights of the day was seeing just how much love had gone into every detail. Many of the decorations and styling elements had been lovingly handmade, giving the wedding a wonderfully personal feel from beginning to end.
Back inside the beautifully restored barn, guests enjoyed heartfelt speeches and fantastic food before the evening entertainment began. Sean’s band performed an energetic live set, while talented friends also took to the stage throughout the night, creating an atmosphere that felt more like an unforgettable festival than a wedding. Following the cake cutting, everyone was surprised by a flash mob performance outside before dancing continued long into the warm summer evening.
