Jemma and Dave’s wedding at The Gardens in Yalding Kent, had a film theme entwined into this rustic tipi styled wedding. With the day beginning at a gorgeous little church only a few minutes down the road, guests were then treated to some of Kent’s best gardens, from apple orchards to chilli plants, this place has it all. This wedding was simply stunning. Check out their amazing day below.

How did you guys meet, tell me all?
We met over 6 years ago, we used to work together. Dave grew up in Scotland, I was going to Edinburgh with some friends and asked him for some tips. He sent me some, but little did I know he knew nothing about Edinburgh and blagged his way through the tips. A few weeks later we bonded on a night out chatting about cheese, wine which may have wine accessories and holidays in France. A few weeks later Dave dj at a house warming I was having and the rest is history.
How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?
We were on holiday in Bali in April 2017. We were on Gili Air and at sunset on a beautiful beach Dave proposed.
What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?
We looked at a few but loved the gardens as we could create a more relaxed and festival style wedding.
What was the inspiration/theme of your wedding?
We love going to gigs and festivals and have attended Glastonbury together twice so it was the perfect venue to help us create a festival feel. It also has great spaces both indoors and outdoors.
What is your first song and why?
To be with you, Mr Big – We found this a hard decision. We love a lot of music just not many romantic songs. It came on the radio a few weeks ago and we both started singing and said how much we loved this song so we picked it there and then.
What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
Enjoy the preparation and don’t sweat the small stuff. Also I love a spreadsheet, it’s great to have all the information in one place.
