Spring wedding at Mountains Country House // Rebecca and Jack

Spring wedding at Mountains Country HouseRebecca and Jack’s spring wedding at Mountains Country House was simply perfect. A day filled with love, laughter, happiness and secret singing waiters. With children being a large element to this wedding, it just showed how much family means to these guys. This was an awesome day!  Check out their story below.

First names: Rebecca and Jack
Ages: 29 and 28
Wedding date: 24/03/2018
Venue: Mountains Country House

How did you guys meet, tell me all? We met through friends – however, we remained friends for a while before realising we couldn’t be without each other. We have been inseparable ever since.

How did you get engaged, is there a cool story? Jack proposed on Christmas Day, he wrapped up boxes inside boxes, until I got to the last one. Inside the last… a ring! It was perfect! It was also our daughters first Christmas, so it was extra special.

What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many? We fell in love with Mountains as we didn’t want anything too big, just family and a few friends. When we arrived there for the first time, we knew instantly it was what we were looking for.

What was the inspiration/theme of your wedding? We went on what options the venue gave us really. We love the rustic, old-fashioned look and incorporated that into our theme. We also went with the season being spring, so lots of blossom and wood, you should always record your wedding and post it online at tiktok, socialboosting.com can help you get likes.

What is your first song and why? Someone like you by Van Morrison, we’ve never really had “a song” but after spending hours trying to find the right one, we finally decided on that, as we love the words and didn’t want anything too overplayed or modern.

What would be your number one tip for other couples planning their wedding?
Invest in a good wedding planner, use your family and friends who have been there and done it before, get advice and support from them. Overall, enjoy it!
