This rustic, autumnal and misty Newlands Corner engagement shoot with Michelle and Chris, gave us a bit of everything. From the foggy conditions, to the beautiful sunshine towards the end, this shoot just kept on giving.
After a cancelled shoot that had been pencilled in a few weeks before due to the wet weather, we had our fingers crossed for better conditions this time around. We had decided on a Newlands Corner engagement shoot due to the picturesque settings and knew it would look pretty awesome in good weather.
On my journey around the M25 to Newlands Corner, I noticed that the closer I got, the more misty the weather became. To the point that when we arrived, it was like we were surrounded by a thick white wall and the glorious views across Surrey were non-existent. However, something told me this would make for some very atmospheric pictures.
It was a real joy photographing Michelle and Chris, who were just so much fun and it was great to hear all about the plans for their big day. I’m very much looking forward to the day and being their photographer.
