Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Alannah and Patrick’s beautiful Nettlestead Place wedding in Kent. Even the rain and thunderstorms couldn’t dampen their spirits, who both enjoyed such a fabulous day. Drinks were flowing and these guys certainly had a lot of fun! Check it all out below.

How did you guys meet, tell me all?

Tinder! Then we met for a drink at the Ship & Trades and never stopped talking since.

How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?

It was my birthday and we went for a night away to Eastwell Manor. Patrick popped the question in our room just after we arrived.

What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?

We looked at a few cool venues but this ticked the boxes and we loved the gardens, and most importantly Patricks criteria – a good bar.

Tell me about your dress? Who was it designed by and was there a particular style you were drawn too?

It’s a Maggie Sottero. I tried on a large selection of dresses I thought I wanted, none of them were the one. The lady in the shop found my dress and it was everything I said I didn’t want! It also has pockets.

What was the inspiration/theme/styling of your wedding?

The venue was inspo, gardens, floral, summer.

What is your first song and why?

Lets Stay Together – Al Green. We both love the lyrics.

What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?

Take your time with decisions
