Harriett and Oliver’s Middleton Lodge wedding was a day of timeless elegance and heartfelt celebration. Set against the backdrop of the Georgian country estate, the couple embraced the classic beauty of the venue, with its sprawling gardens and historic architecture. Harriett’s dress, a stunning piece from Made With Love Bridal, embodied a perfect blend of modernity and tradition. Complementing her look, Oliver stood by her side in a sharp black tuxedo, exuding sophistication and poise.
The ceremony was held at the local church, where the couple exchanged vows. Afterwards, guests were treated to the tranquil setting of the estate as the couple’s love story unfolded, with sunlight streaming through the trees and a gentle breeze rustling through the leaves.
As the evening unfolded, the reception moved indoors to the opulent Coach House, where guests dined and danced the night away under the lights.

Photographing Harriet and Oliver’s wedding at Middleton Lodge on 35mm film was a truly special experience, capturing the day’s moments with a timeless, artistic quality. The natural light that filtered through the lush gardens and historic spaces lent itself beautifully to the medium, creating soft, organic tones and subtle textures that digital cameras can’t replicate.
The richness of film added depth to every shot, from intimate portraits of the couple to candid moments between family and friends. Shooting on film requires a slower, more thoughtful approach, allowing me to truly engage with each scene and anticipate the perfect moment to press the shutter. This deliberate process felt fitting for such a meaningful celebration, preserving the emotions of the day with an authenticity that resonates through each frame.
