As an Ibiza wedding photographer, one of my all-time favourite places to visit is the Balearic island of Ibiza. It’s just such a beautiful island and incorporating my 20 years of expertise as a photographer, I can capture your fantastic destination wedding.

Wedding photography to me is about that look, that tear, an exchange of glances. It’s about that moment you laugh so much you can’t breathe. It’s about the awesome dancing, the hilarious speeches. It’s about capturing the gorgeous and picturesque island of Ibiza, all within the story of your wedding.

The main ethos within my wedding photography is to be authentic, honest and real. I like to document the day in a way that captures the personality and spirit while remaining in the shadows and being as unobtrusive as possible. Capturing that story as it unfolds around me naturally.

Less posed groups, more natural wedding photography.

I like to capture the laughter, the odd tear, the funky dancing and the emotional embraces between two people who haven’t seen each other for many years.

I then blend this with a few natural portraits of the happy couple. Nothing overly staged or setup, just a time to capture your personalities together, having fun and enjoying each other’s company.

I can also use the setting sun, or some artistic light to create images of the wedding that will be will hang on the wall, pride of place for generations.

Having a destination wedding can be a pretty brave call to make for most couples, but I can assure you it’s a decision that always pays off!

Guests arrive with holiday mode on, which gives a chance for everyone to introduce themselves to each other the day before the wedding. This in turn has an enormous impact on the atmosphere of the day itself. Plus, it goes without saying, a post-wedding BBQ can be a pretty crazy affair too!
