Hayne House Wedding in Kent // Angela and Steve

Hayne House Wedding in KentAngela and Steve’s Hayne House wedding in Kent was just stunning! This gorgeous wedding day was elegant, fun and a hell of a party! As an added surprise, these guys had classical singing waiters! Plus, they had the best, ‘Best Man’s speech’, I’ve ever seen, ever! With laughter throughout, these two are honestly made for each other. Check out their big day below.

First names: Stephen and Angela
Ages: 32 and 31
Wedding date: 4th October 2018
Venue: Hayne House, Hythe

How did you guys meet, tell me all?
We first met at 16 at our mutual friend’s BBQ. Steve couldn’t take his eyes off me all day and made his move for a cheeky teenage kiss! We didn’t see each other for another 16 years but we hit it off straight away and three years later our daughter was born. Another year and here we are!

How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?
After saying i would propose in the year 2016, and after 11 months of ear bending and many moments of wanting to propose but not plucking the courage to do it, i knee shakingly climbed the stairs with the rind in my hand, walked in to the bedroom and went down on one knee while angela was in bed on the phone to her sister.

What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?
A friend recommended it and we fell in love with it on the drive in, Sam at Hayne House in Kent did a fantastic job at selling the perfect wedding in the new to be Orangery and we left feeling super excited!

What was the inspiration/theme of your wedding?
We don’t really have a theme. We’ve just gone for what we want with who we love.

What is your first song and why?
Frank Sinatra’s Nice and Easy; whilst Steve was getting ready one night before we headed out to see the Lion King, he was singing the song in the shower and I fell in love with the song!

What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
Take a budget and double it
