Millie and Nick’s Grangefields Barn wedding in Derbyshire was a beautiful mix of modern elegance, relaxed countryside style and fashion-inspired details. Set within the Derbyshire countryside near Ashbourne, their summer wedding at Grangefields brought together candlelit spaces, white florals and a timeless black-tie feel.
A SUMMER WEDDING AT GRANGEFIELDS BARN
The day began with Millie getting ready at the house beside Grangefields, before making the short walk to the ceremony. Wearing an incredible lace Galia Lahav wedding dress, she paired the look with a sculptural white bouquet and long veil for a beautifully modern bridal look.
Millie and Nick were married inside the ceremony barn at Grangefields, surrounded by exposed brick, timber beams, candlelight and white florals, with a string quartet playing during the ceremony. The warm summer light coming through the barn created an incredible setting as they walked back up the aisle together as newlyweds.
A STYLISH GRANGEFIELDS WEDDING RECEPTION
Following the ceremony, everyone headed outside for drinks before returning to the beautifully styled reception space. Long tables were dressed simply with white linen, white flowers, handwritten stationery and clusters of candles, keeping everything elegant and understated against the darker interior of Grangefields.
The florals by Jess Austin and stationery, primarily by Ten Story, complemented the relaxed modern styling perfectly, with lots of smaller details throughout the day adding personality to the overall look.
Later came dinner and speeches, followed by an evening of live music from The Hype.
