Kate and Gary’s Bury Court Barn wedding in Hampshire was gorgeous. Natural flowers, foliage, candles and fairy lights helped this late October wedding look pretty amazing. With trees turning golden and a fresh autumn temperature, this wedding gave a warm and cozy feeling, while being incredibly fun! Check out their beautiful day below.

How did you guys meet, tell me all?
We met through mutual friends first, and we definitely think we’ve worked out because we were mates first, we made each other laugh, and spent many days messaging and speaking on the phone! Then Gary started suggesting we go out for a date, we went to Zizzi’s and had the best night, our food went cold we were chatting so much, and will never forget Gary pretending he loved chocolate fondant, we ordered one to share despite him not really liking chocolate fondant at all! We definitely knew we’d both found someone special pretty early on…
How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?
We had a weekend away to the Cotswolds with our baby girl, we had a romantic dinner and whilst I was checking on the baby, Gary got down on one knee! He’d had the ring designed by a jeweller a few months back, it was beautiful 🙂 a lovely weekend we’ll remember forever!
What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?
We had a look at 2 or 3, I wanted to book our first venue but Gary knowing me so well persuaded me to wait for Bury Court! We knew we loved it the minute we got there, a Barn was always something I’d loved the idea of but it wasn’t completely rustic which Gary liked
What was the inspiration/theme of your wedding?
No theme really! We just wanted it to be very informal, and for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves 🙂 I love flowers so our florist was very important, lots of natural flowers and foliage, candles, fairy lights etc!
What is your first song and why?
Let there be Love, Nat King Cole, we both love old school swing music and this song makes us smile
What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
I’d say book your photographer and your venue early, and then do a little bit each month so it’s not all a big stressful job nearer the date! And keep in mind why you’re getting married in the first place!!
