Ruth and Tom had the most gorgeous BMA House Wedding, which was set in the heart of London in upmarket Bloomsbury. This Jewish wedding blessing was held for the couple with a ‘party’ in mind and they certainly managed that.

Steeped in history and architectural beauty, BMA House in Tavistock Square has been home to the headquarters of the British Medical Association since 1925.
The magnificent Grade II listed building was designed in 1911 by Sir Edwin Lutyens and made for a glorious backdrop for this Jewish wedding blessing. With it’s incredibly large Great Hall, it comfortably housed Ruth and Tom’s many guests and with it’s beautiful secret garden, BMA House was truly a wonderful venue to have as their wedding venue.
Tom met Ruth through his Dad, who is a surgeon. One day while Tom was visiting his Dad at work, he me a girl in scrubs who was training with his father. From asking ‘Who is that Dad?’ to a Christmas meal later, here we are with Ruth and Tom planning to spend the rest of their lives together.
From walking down the centre aisle in the Great Hall, to their last dance, this BMA House wedding just gave so much and it was a real joy to photograph. A little feature I thought was a great choice was their first dance track! Nothing Really Matters by Metallica seemed to fit the Great Hall superbly and certainly sent a small shiver down my spine.
It was so great to meet Ruth and Tom’s lovely families and I wish this amazing couple so much happiness for the future.
As a special side note, it was fantastic to work with my very own wife on this wedding! Rebecca has been a wedding planner for the last 8 years, but it was the first time we have actually worked on the same wedding.
