2016. What an awesome year! It certainly has been a year to remember for many, many reasons. Each year I like to throw a little compilation tape together, a highlights reel if you will. So, here is my ‘Best wedding photography 2016‘ collection.

Putting this post together was extremely difficult. To whittle 65,000 photographs down to 170 was tough and fun, all rolled into one. I decided early on, this was about pictures, those moments that last a lifetime. Not just any pictures! I gave myself a brief. I wanted images that reflected what I shoot, images that reflect me as a photographer. Things I see, things that make me buzz.

From a techie stand point, I shoot this whole lot with 2 cameras and two lenses! That’s it. Two Nikon D750’s and a 85mm f1.4 and a 35mm f1.4. Boom and the job is done, as someone once said on tv.

I would honestly like to thank all of my 2016 couples. You’ve made this year extremely special for me. You’re all amazing and i’ve certainly made friends for life. I have 45 weddings booked for 2017, so I know this time next year will also be just as incredible.

As a personal thing, my wife and I are expecting twins in April! So we go from 2 to 4! Things are looking good.

Omg where do we start!! This guy is the cream of the crop! We had an amazing engagement shoot together and then an absolutely fantastic wedding day! Ross made us feel comfortable and made sure we had fun! Could not recommend this guy enough…..if you don’t book him you will regret it!
