Lauren and Jack’s Southlands Barn wedding was just amazing! This spring wedding was gorgeous, elegant, and extremely fun! Lauren and Jack smashed it and it was a real pleasure to be there to photograph such a cool couple getting married. Check it all out below.

How did you guys meet, tell me all? We met in a bar in Horsham. Lauren had done my mums nails for the best part of 15 years, so we knew of each other, but had never really said anything more than “hello” to one another, until that night.
How did you get engaged, is there a cool story? We got engaged in Turkey in 2019. I had taken a tripod on holiday with me and convinced Lauren it was to get some nice sunset pics of us. On the evening I proposed, I set the camera up to take a picture, but I was actually filming the whole thing, so we have our engagement and her reaction on video.
I was actually going to propose the night before, I had the ring in my pocket ready to go, but Lauren got so drunk in the restaurant and invited half the guests to join our table, so you know…it just didn’t feel like it was the right moment.
What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many? I think it was the third barn we looked at. We fell in love with it and put a deposit down pretty much straight away.
What was the inspiration/theme/styling of your wedding? As we are getting married in a barn, we thought a rustic look would be the way to go.
What is your first song and why? Al Green – Let’s Stay Together
