Pretty, elegant and timeless Rowhill Grange wedding in Kent with Jessica and Callum. This wedding, with a vision of classical romance, was just gorgeous. Check out thier beautiful wedding below.
First names: Jessica and Callum
Ages: 25 and 28
Wedding date: 11-05-19
Venue: Rowhill Grange, Kent.
How did you guys meet, tell me all?
We first knew of each other through mutual friends but actually had our first conversation on twitter! Callum sent me a witty message about our mutual love of football and how he was in love haha. After a year of on and off conversation we went on out first proper date a year later and haven’t looked back since.
How did you get engaged, is there a cool story?
It was my birthday and Callum had booked tickets to see Matilda at the theatre as it is my favourite childhood film. Before the show we had booked a table at Hawksmoor restaurant as we both love a good steak! After a lovely meal we was waiting for our desert and Callum started to look a little shifty and I actually questioned if he was feeling okay. When desert was served I noticed there was some chocolate writing around my plate but naturally thought it would say ‘Happy Birthday’, after a double take I realised it said ‘Will you marry me Jessica?’ and Callum got on one knee. I was too shocked to answer.
What made you choose your wedding venue, did you look at many?
Nope, Rowhill was the only place we ever looked at. Our families live around an hour drive apart and Rowhill is pretty much in the middle. It means the world to us that our grandparents could share our special day with us and we didn’t want them to have to travel too far. Also Rowhill is gorgeous!
What was the inspiration/theme of your wedding?
Classic romance. We wanted it to be pretty, elegant and timeless.
What is your first song and why?
Alicia Keys- No one. The words ring true to how we feel about each other.
What would be your number one tip to other couples planning their wedding?
Don’t stress and enjoy it, we found our wedding come around so quickly we actually wished we could slow time down a little. Things will always work themselves out and no matter what happens as long as you come out of the day married, that’s all that’s important.
