This alternative English village fete wedding with Anna and James was just awesome! Putting it simply, it was one of the most fun filled weddings I have ever been to. Check out this amazing wedding below.
Anna and James decided to create their very own unique wedding, that matched their fun personalities and hosted an alternative English village fete wedding!
With the sun shining, the ceremony was held in Anna’s beautiful parents house in Elham, an ideal location for Anna who grew up in this picturesque sleepy Kent village. This incredible service taken by the brilliant celebrant Katie Keen, included alternative entrances, a gospel choir and confetti canons amongst many other things.
The first reception was a relaxed affair with everyone sipping tea on the lawn and trying one of many cakes baked by different guests. This ended with everyone marching down the road following a New Orleans style jazz band to the local village hall where the english village fete theme began.
The afternoon included bucking bronco, tug of war, egg and spoon and sack races and people got to relax on chairs made of hay bales.
After the BBQ and speeches, Anna and James put on a wonderful choreographed first dance that had everyone in raptures.
This wedding was stunning and I loved every minute of it. I’d like to thank Anna and James for letting me share their magical day.
So before the full set of images are ready, here is an extended sneak peek of this wonderful alternative English village fete wedding in Kent. Enjoy!
