This engagement shoot in Knole Park with Lyssa and Jay was such a great pre-wedding shoot. With the golden trees and low sun, the light was simply beautiful. So we set off into the undergrowth and captured some pretty cool imagery.

I met Lyssa and Jay by the stunning Knole House at 11am. It was a midweek shoot and so the grounds were pretty quiet. The sun was low and casting a beautiful light. It wasn’t too cold either, which is always a bonus, so we set off into the woods to shoot some pictures.

On route we were lucky to have some moments with the wild deer that frequent the parkland, which just added to a very picturesque shoot.

We chatted about the wedding day, which is fast approaching now and it was great to hear about their plans. It sounds like a gorgeous, intimate day, with close family and friends. The perfect wedding for this lovely couple.

Lyssa and Jay were a real joy to photograph and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding day.
